Daw Zin Mar Htoo holds M.Sc. (Maths.) and the certificate in mentoring awarded by EDNA Myanmar.She is currently studying for her second master degree on Public administration.
Daw Zin Mar Htoo worked as the Secretary of Township Child Rights Committee (Meiktilla) for five years before joining EDNA Myanmar. As part of her work, she conducted numerous training on Community Mobilization, Child Protection and Child Rights, Child Participations Trainings and Anti- Trafficking training. She has also been teaching since 2002.
Daw Zin Mar Htoo joined EDNA Myanmar in 2015. She was the field officer for Meiktilla Division after completing her mentor training. As the Junior Operations officer in 2016, she was responsible for the project expansion into the upper Myanmar regions. As well as mentoring her own class, she supervised 27 mentors and managed field logistics for 125 classrooms in 11 townships. Due to her strong mobilization and management skills, over 3000 entrepreneurs in the dry zone region had access to and completed EDNA Myanmar program. Daw Zin Mar Htoo is now the Operations Manager in charge of Entrepreneurship Education and Enterprise Development Initiatives with the Ministry of Industries SME Department. Daw Zin Mar Htoo is also a member of the Board of Directors.
